It’s thanks to these women, who carefully hand peel and package our snacks that you’re able to enjoy them here. We would love for you to meet all of them but for this occasion we spoke to Marta Lucia Montoya Perez, a 49-year-old mom of five. Her eldest passed away; the other four range in age from 17 to 32.

One of the greatest things about having a food business is seeing people — from kids to food bloggers — enjoying our snacks. What’s even more exciting is seeing how people eat our snacks in unique ways. We shared some of our personal favorites in our last post, but this week we wanted to share this wonderful recipe that Jessi over at Jessi’s Kitchen created with Artisan Tropic plantain strips.

Jessi took nachos and just substituted the corn chips with plantain strips. When we saw it, it got us thinking: why didn’t we think of that? We love it for its beautiful shades of green thanks to its diverse vegetation and a magical climate that stays pretty close to 70 degrees year-round. Why We Use Sustainable Palm Oil
